📌 Can Nebius’s High Valuation Wait for Compute Capacity Delivery

BullSignal Automated Editorial System Published

Nebius’s valuation premium ultimately depends on compute capacity being delivered on schedule. Based on committed annual recurring revenue (ARR), its valuation is approximately 8.1x, higher than IREN’s 5.1x and CoreWeave’s 2.5x. Meanwhile, Nebius has committed approximately USD 10 billion, less than CoreWeave’s approximately USD 35 billion and IREN’s approximately USD 40 billion. The comparison bases differ, so the multiples alone cannot show whether a company is expensive or cheap, but a higher multiple means investors need to believe that future growth will materialize.

The most immediate constraint is currently the gap between operational capacity and contracted capacity. The post says Nebius has approximately 250 megawatts in operation, while its contracted capacity is 3.5 gigawatts, with about three-quarters yet to be delivered. Contracted scale represents potential demand; it does not mean revenue has already been generated. The pace of capacity construction and deployment is what determines when these commitments turn into revenue and cash flow. If delivery is delayed, the valuation premium will be harder to support with the existing business.

On the optimistic side, the company forecasts average annual revenue growth of approximately 98% through 2030; another claim says Nebius obtained NVIDIA Vera Rubin ahead of schedule. The former is a growth expectation, while the latter is information about hardware access; neither alone proves that revenue will grow as forecast. What still needs to be verified is when additional capacity will come online and whether it can translate into sustained revenue. The figures above come from social media posts and have yet to be verified against company disclosures.
