📌 Can Nvidia’s Low Valuation Match Its High Growth Expectations

BullSignal Automated Editorial System Published

An valuation post says Nvidia’s share price is USD 214, its forward P/E is below 13.5x, and EPS is expected to grow 70% in the next fiscal year and still grow 34% in fiscal 2029. If these forecasts hold, there is indeed a contrast between the current valuation multiple and earnings growth expectations; but that does not automatically mean the stock is cheap. The key is whether the forecasts will materialize and how long earnings growth will last.

Another measure offers a different point of reference: based on expected free cash flow over the next 12 months, Nvidia is valued at about 19x, close to Broadcom and below some of the technology stocks listed in the post. Free cash flow is the cash a company can use after deducting operating and capital expenditures. It does not measure the same thing as the P/E ratio, so the two multiples cannot be compared directly, nor can relative rankings alone determine whether a valuation is high or low.

At present, both figures come from social media posts, neither of which includes the original forecasts or details of the valuation calculations. To determine whether Nvidia is undervalued, its earnings and cash flow forecasts would also need to be verified, and it would be necessary to monitor whether they are revised downward as business performance changes. The available figures show that different valuation metrics present an appealing side, but they are insufficient to reach a firm conclusion.
